Eating Vegan at The Crepe Factory

Today I met up with my cousin Emily and we took a spontaneous trip to The Crepe Factory on North End Road in West Brompton. I’d not heard of it before, but we’d literally googled ‘Dessert places in London’ and The Crepe Factory was top of the list, and luckily it had a whole load of vegan options!

The menu doesn’t mention any particular special vegan choices, but when we got there, I requested a vegan crepe and the waiter didn’t bat an eyelid, which tells you how popular the place must be for fellow vegans. They also serve vegan ice cream and sorbet.

I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so I went for the dark chocolate and banana crepe, which was delicious – the banana and chocolate were fried inside the crepe which made it all the tastier. (Sorry for the badly lit iPhone photo here!)

I must admit, when I heard the name The Crepe Factory, I was expecting a restaurant chain, but it’s got more of a family run restaurant vibe. It names itself the ‘No.1 Dessert Restaurant in London’, and if you don’t believe it, check out these Trip Advisor reviews!
